There were 3 religious trials
1. Jesus tried by Annas (John 18:13)
2. Jesus tried by Caiaphas (John 18:24)
3. Jesus tried by the Sanhedrin (Matthew 27:1)
There were 3 secular trials
1. Jesus tried by Pilate (John 18:29)
2. Jesus tried by Herod (Luke 23:11)
3. Jesus tried by Pilate (Matthew 27:13)
The total number of trials is therefore six. Six is the numeric number of Man in the Bible.
One day the following people and groups will all stand before God at the Seventh Trial:
- Annas
- Caiaphas
- The Sanhedrin
- Pilate
- Herod
The Great White Throne Judgement
The Great White Throne Judgement is recorded in Revelation 20:11, "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the Earth and the Heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them."
At this Seventh trial Jesus Christ will judge all of those who judged Him, as He will also judge all unbelievers.
